About 150 Republican activists stood in line to receive autographed copies of Gov. Rick Perry's anti-Washington book, Fed Up! .The crowd was large enough that the half-hour signing opportunity ran another 30 minutes.
Midway through the event, the snaked line of book purchasers started chanting, "Run, Rick, Run."
Perry's folks are still saying that he is in an exploring mode to run for president. He is speaking on the last day of the three-day confab that is a cattle call of speeches by GOP presidential aspirants, upcoming leaders and those seeking new offices. A straw poll of potential presidential candidates is supposed to be released later this afternoon.
