Who won last night? Well, the Bruins, for one. (See you in Vancouver, 'Nuckleheads.) But as for that other frosty battle, the first Republican presidential-candidates debate, well, it wasn't all that frosty after all — the temperature was more lukewarm/truce-state — and Mitt Romney surprised no-one by coming off as the most polished (albeit polished like petrified wood) and least desperate of the contenders. Round One to him by default.
But Michele Bachmann won a victory, too...
