So, given that the unemployment rate and the tax-rate fight are overshadowing the president's budget commission, and given that the deeply divided commission vote means that in all likelihood the report will take its place on the shelf to gather dust alongside all such beautiful reports issued by earnest hardworking public servants just as we said it would it does argue for our wise-man approach of taking it out of the realm of the normal politics and shooing all the interested parties out of the room so that the commissioners might be liberated to do radical things like vote for something that they might not entirely like.
